Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs visits Armenia's Patrol Service and Operational Management Center

Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Armen Mkrtchyan, visited the administrative complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' 112 Operational Management Center and the Patrol Service, the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

During the visit, Sulkhan Tamazashvili toured the complex and familiarized himself with the facilities of the Operational Management Center, the Patrol Service administration, and the activities of its subordinate units.

At the Operational Management Center, the Georgian Interior Minister was introduced to the 112 emergency call management center, established in accordance with European standards, which has integrated the call-handling services of the Rescue Service and the Police onto a single unified platform.

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs delegation was also briefed on the functions of the departments responsible for receiving citizens, conducting administrative proceedings, and reviewing complaints.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili also visited the complex's armory, shooting range, and gym, where he was introduced to the facilities created for the physical and tactical training of patrol officers. He was also presented with the technical equipment and capabilities of the Yerevan Patrol Regiment's electric service vehicles.
